PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The purpose of this position is to support and work with our CTO, a leading and innovative technologist, to implement
the information and user interface design of our clients' custom, web-based applications as well as our proprietary
SaaS products. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience, working with HTML and CSS,
in a professional environment, for the purposes of integration with .NET development. The candidate should have a
sincere interest in web applications and platform development and a strong desire to learn.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- CSS
- Form Design
- Integration with .NET development environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with coders
- Keeping current on new browsers, versions, capabilities & limitations
SKILLS:
- Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines
- Ability to communicate clearly with business users and project manager
- Ability to innovate and build interfaces with intuitive interfaces
- Ability to construct user guides and documentation
- Adobe Photoshop skills
QUALIFICATIONS & RELATED EXPERIENCE:
- University degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Strong divergent thinking skills as well as an entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated
ability to take true ownership of projects and initiatives
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Superior conceptual, analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong sense of 'self' in order to successfully represent the company's interests
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills with a high sense of urgency
- Extremely well-organized, collaborative, and takes direction well
- Energetic and genuinely enthusiastic about technology, sales and marketing
- Minimum of three (3) years working in a professional environment working with HTML,
CSS, Visual Studio.
- Experience with information design, user interface design, or any solution/system
architecture an asset.
- Thorough understanding of the limitations of html elements with respect to building
usable interfaces
- Computer literate and strong understanding of technology (MS office, sales force
automation, contact management), networks, databases, applications, platforms, and
operating systems
- Strong understanding of information design, usability, workflow.
